In der kommenden Saison stehen mit Elias Genous und Luca-Noel Nickel zwei Spieler der Basketball-Akademie GIESSEN 46ers im Profi-Kader der GIESSEN 46ers. Die beiden 17-jährigen NBBL-Spieler werden mit einem dreijährigen Fördervertrag ausgestattet,

Im Sport ist Stillstand Rückschritt. Wir als Basketball-Akademie GIESSEN 46ers müssen uns weiterentwickeln, um erfolgreich unsere Ziele zu erreichen. Nicht nur als Basketballer in der Halle, sondern genauso auch als Verein und Organisation. Aus diesem Grund haben wir zu Ferienbeginn einen Workshop mit Vertretern von BBA-Spielern, -Trainern, -Eltern und -Vorstand sowie der Geschäftsstelle der Profis durchgeführt, in dem wir den Kern unserer Marke „BBA GIESSEN 46ers“, unsere Werte und Attribute, für die wir stehen wollen, geschärft und in Teilen neu erarbeitet haben.

Vorstand der Basketball Akademie stellt sich neu auf

Der Basketball Akademie Gießen 46ers e.V. hat seinen Vorstand neu aufgestellt und stärkt die sportliche Kompetenz und die personellen Strukturen mit einigen bekannten heimischen Basketball-Gesichtern. Davon erhofft sich die BBA die notwendige Schlagkraft, um die nächsten von allen Nachwuchsstandorten der BBL, ProA und ProB geforderten Professionalisierungsschritte mitgehen zu können.
